Video: Pundit claims relegation-threatened midfielder would walk into Tottenham’s team

Former Everton and Aston Villa striker Andy Gray has claimed that Jack Grealish would walk into the Tottenham side at the moment.

The Villa midfielder has been in terrific form this season since his return to the Premier League and has notched up six goals and five assists for the Villans so far this campaign (transfermarkt).

While the newly-promoted side have struggled to put wins together so far this campaign, Grealish has looked a class apart on the pitch and a constant threat going forward.

Gray insisted that the 24-year-old, who came close to a move to Spurs in the summer of 2018 (Sky Sports), is good enough to get into all of the top six sides in the Premier League and admitted that he expects Grealish to leave Villa Park in the summer.

Grealish has certainly shown that we were right to target him a season and a half ago. His rise since then only makes our decision to not sign him back then look even more shocking. There is no doubt that his value would have now risen considerably thus likely putting him out of our price range.
