Video: Pundit claims ‘world-class’ Mourinho can’t be judged until next season

Jose Mourinho has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism in recent weeks owing to Tottenham’s poor run of form.

The Lilywhites have struggled to pick up wins for the past few weeks with several key players out injured.

The 3-0 demolition at the hands of RB Leipzig represented a new low for the side, who now face the prospect of having little to play for until the end of the season.

Former Sunderland striker Kevin Phillips has leapt to the Spurs head coach’s defence and insisted that we cannot judge him until next season.

Former Scotland international Ally McCoist agreed with Philips’ take and felt the Portuguese coach needed an opportunity to freshen up the squad.
