Video – Pundit in trouble for wrongly calling Spurs opponents ‘plumbers’ and ‘part-timers’

Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Bayern Munich, Olympiakos, and Red Star Belgrade in this year’s Champions League group stages.

Although they came out of pot four, Red Star were ranked as the joint 27th top European club in the 20th century by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.

However, ex-Liverpool and Blackburn player, Stephen Warnock, claimed on Sky Sports that the team were part-timers and made up of plumbers.

He later had to apologise for something that just was not true, with Red Star being one of the top sides in Eastern Europe.
