Video: Pundit is asked whether Spurs should sell Kane for £200m to take them to Liverpool’s level

Tottenham Hotspur should not sell Harry Kane even if a bid of £200million was made by a rival club, according to former striker Dean Saunders.

The ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool player was posed the question on talkSPORT by co-presenter Andy Goldstein, who suggested that if Spurs sold Kane and used the funds to buy three £70million players, would it take them to Liverpool’s level.

Saunders was insistent that it would be foolish for Daniel Levy to sell a proven goalscorer if Spurs are looking to compete at the highest level.

Kane has netted 17 goals this season in the Premier League and provided four assists. Despite missing significant game time, he is only two goals behind Sergio Aguero, Mo Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the top scorer charts.

Here’s what Saunders had to say.
