Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in their first match at the new stadium yesterday evening
The stadium which had made the headlines for the wrong reasons in the last six months due to repeated delays finally hosted its first Premier League match in what was a historic occasion.
Ahead of the game, there was a brief opening ceremony held which concluded with the teams walking out on the pitch to a wonderful rendition of ‘Oh when the Spurs go marching in’.
The moment must have surely must have sent a tingle down the spine of the players as well as the fans who witnessed the historic event.
