Video: Redknapp questions decision Mourinho made in second half against Wolves

Jamie Redknapp has questioned the manner in which Tottenham Hotspur failed to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers last night.

Jose Mourinho’s side went in front through Tanguy Ndombele after just 57 seconds but were unable to add to their lead.

They were punished four minutes from time when Romain Saiss headed home from a corner following some intense pressure on Hugo Lloris’ goal.

Frustratingly, Spurs were unable to capitalise on Liverpool’s two dropped points at home to West Brom where a victory could have taken them up to third and instead have to settle for fifth.

Redknapp was critical of the fact that Tottenham were in total control early on but failed to register another shot on target after the 21st minute.

The former midfielder also questioned the decision to bring off goalscorer Tanguy Ndombele after 70 minutes with Redknapp claiming that the Frenchman was in the form of his life and it sets the tone for the other players to start to play deeper and deeper before the inevitable equaliser arrives.
