Harry Redknapp has called for Tottenham Hotspur to get the best out of Dele Alli.
The former Spurs boss claimed that there was no way that chairman Daniel Levy would have allowed the midfielder to have left the club.
The 24-year-old was heavily linked with a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain but instead remained in North London (Guardian).
Redknapp described Dele as a fantastic talent and questioned why the club would even consider letting him leave.
The 73-year-old suggested that Jose Mourinho needs to try harder to get the best out of the England international given his talent and believes that the Portuguese needs to sit down with the player to try and understand any issues to get him back to his best.
🗣”Maybe he (Mourinho) needs to try harder, get him playing”
