Video: Reliable journalist insists player wants Spurs move

Tottenham have been linked with Fulham wide man Ryan Sessegnon since last summer (Telegraph), and after their relegation back to the Championship, it looks as if the 18-year-old is finally set to leave Craven Cottage.

BBC journalist David Ornstein has claimed that a reliable source has informed him that the teenager will leave Fulham in the summer and prefers a move to Tottenham.

He also added that Manchester United, PSG, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig are all interested in the England U-21 international, Sessegnon wishes to stay in London which makes the Lilywhites favourites for his signature.

Ornstein further added that while Sessegnon would like his future resolved before the UEFA European Under-21 Championship which starts on the 16th of June, Spurs are yet to launch a bid for him at the moment as they have the Champions League final to think about.

This is one of those transfers that look nailed on to happen as it suits all three parties. Fulham will want to get maximum value for Sessegnon this summer as he will soon enter into the final year of his contract, while the teenager himself has made no secret of his desire to continue playing Premier League football.

We believe Pochettino is the perfect guy to get the 18-year-old to live up to his potential, and we thus believe that it will be a real coup if Lillywhites get this deal over the line.
