Video: Reported Spurs target appears to wave goodbye to fans amid rumours

A video doing the rounds on social media shows rumoured Tottenham target Alex Scott waving to Bristol City fans after the club’s final league game of the season.

Scott has emerged as one of the best young players in the EFL since breaking into Bristol’s starting eleven last season and, unsurprisingly, his performances have reportedly caught the attention of several top-flight sides ahead of the summer transfer window.

GiveMeSport revealed back in March that Tottenham are one of the clubs to have enquired about the 19-year-old’s availability and it has subsequently emerged that the youngster is also on the radar of Manchester United (Daily Mail) and Brighton (Alex Crook).

It remains to be seen where the teenager will end up this summer but his latest actions seem to make it clear that his time at Ashton Gate Stadium may be about to come to an end.

After Briston’s 2-0 win over QPR at Loftus Road in their final Championship game of the season, Scott could be seen seemingly waving goodbye to the away section.

Scott is guaranteed to make a step up to the Premier League in the summer.

However, the youngster might prefer to join a club like Wolves or Brighton, where he is more likely to get regular game time rather than making a step up to Spurs, where the likes of Djed Spence have struggled to get minutes.
