Despite sitting at the top of the Premier League table after eleven matches, Tottenham Hotspur have come in for criticism for their negative approach at times this season.
Serge Aurier, who is undoubtedly one of Tottenham’s most improved players this season, has admitted that Jose Mourinho does not care too much about how the team performs as long as they get three points.
The Ivorian also echoed the Spurs boss’ words concerning the team’s title aspirations, insisting that the players are focused on taking it one game at a time.
Watch what Aurier told Sky Sports about Tottenham’s title hopes:
🗣 "We have to take it game by game, my goal is at the end of the season we finish with something"

Spurs Web Opinion
Whatever one feels about our style of play at the moment, to suggest as Jamie Redknapp did, that the players don’t enjoy playing this way, is evidently not true. It is pretty clear from the way the players are working their socks off and what they are saying in interviews, that they have fully bought into Mourinho’s methods.
