Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was back at Hotspur Way today to receive treatment on the nasty wound he suffered during last night’s Carabao Cup semi final victory against Brentford.
The midfielder was forced off in the 86th minute after a tackle from Josh Dasilva saw the Dane suffer a nasty gash down his left shin.
The challenge resulted in VAR recommending that referee Mike Dean showed the former Arsenal man a straight red card.
Serge Aurier was on hand at the training ground to capture footage of the 25-year-old being attended to by a club medic and added a Viking hat on the Danish international’s head for comedic effect, which he shared on his Instagram story.
Hojbjerg took to Twitter earlier today to let Dasilva know that there were no hard feelings over the injury.
