Video: Serge Aurier welcomes back team-mate to Hotspur Way following international duty

Davinson Sanchez has today reported back at Tottenham Hotspur following his post-season break.

The defender had been on international duty with Colombia at the Copa America and, like every other Spurs player who has been on international duty, was given time to recuperate following the tournament before returning to North London (Football.London).

Sanchez was last in action when Colombia won the third-place match against Peru on July 10.

The central defender has been linked with a move to Sevilla, which would see him follow in the footsteps of Erik Lamela, who joined the La Liga outfit last month (Daily Mail)

Sanchez is said to have been earmarked as a potential replacement for Jules Kounde, who has been heavily linked with a move to rivals Chelsea.

The 25-year-old is likely to face extra competition for a starting place if he remains at Spurs next season with the club expected to complete the signing of Atalanta’s Cristian Romero (Sky Sports).

Serge Aurier took to his Instagram story to welcome his fellow defender back to the club ahead of this evening’s pre-season friendly against Chelsea.
