Tottenham Hotspur yesterday wrapped up a deal to bring Ryan Sessegnon to the club.
The England Under-21 international penned contract with the North London club until 2026.
While Spurs did not mention the extent of the transfer fee, Sky Sports report that the deal is for an initial £25m rising to £30m which also saw Josh Onomah head to Fulham as part of the agreement.
After sealing his move to the Champions League finalists, Sessegnon sat down for an interview with the club’s official website.
When asked for the main reason behind picking Spurs, he cited the intensity and style with which the team plays as the primary reason.
He also said that he can’t wait to experience the new stadium and Champions League football for the first time and insisted that there was no better club for him to join.

He comes off as an extremely level-headed and mature young man in this interview. It is also clear from the interview that his main motivation to make the move is to work with a top-class coach like Pochettino and improve as a player. As long as he is calm and continues to keep learning, there is no reason why he can’t develop into a top player.
