Tim Sherwood has told his Tottenham players to rise to the occasion when Arsenal travel to White Hart Lane tomorrow.
Going into the North London derby on the back of two defeats is not ideal preparation when facing your biggest and most hated rivals, but Sherwood insists that everyone must get on with the job in hand.
I always thought it was a good time to play Arsenal but listen, it’s the nature of the game, the game is all about ups and downs and you have to solider on. You can’t always win every game. We know that and we’re in a difficult period at the moment. Coming off the back of two defeat we’re going to have to go out there and be counted and I’m sure we will. The crowd will accept nothing less.”
