Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood has claimed that Harry Kane should aspire to perform like Robert Lewandowski.
The Bayern Munich forward hit four goals last night against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League record the quickest ever quadruple in the competition’s history with all goals coming in just the space of 14 minutes and 31 seconds (CNN).
The Pole has already scored a staggering 31 goals this season, including two goals in the recent 7-2 demolition of Spurs in North London at the start of last month.
Kane found the back of the net twice in the 4-2 win against Olympiacos last night and has now scored 20 Champions League goals in just 24 appearances – the fastest a player has reached 20 goals in the competition’s history (Opta).
"If he needs to aspire to anybody, it needs to be this boy. He is a level above."
