Video: Sherwood tells Pochettino what to do with Lloris

Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has endured the most difficult season of his Tottenham career.

The Frenchman who captained his country to World Cup glory last summer was charged with drink driving early in the early part of the season.

Since then Lloris has made several major errors that have ended up costing his side several points.

Most recently, he failed to hang on to a tame cross by Salah and instead parried into on to Alderweireld, only for the ball to ricochet into the back of the net.

The goal proved costly as Spurs fell to their 4th defeat in 5 games despite giving a good account of themselves at Anfield.

While the 32-year-old has still put in some great performances this season, some fans feel it is time the club captain is benched as he is costing the side too many points.

Former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has weighed in on the debate has backed Pochettino’s decision to continue with Lloris as No.1.

Sherwood said the Argentine should only consider replacing Lloris if Spurs bring in another top goalkeeper.
