Michael Dawson has claimed that Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur side need to stop conceding late goals if they are to have any success during his tenure.
Tottenham threw away the opportunity to move back into the top four yesterday afternoon after individual errors gifted both of Newcastle’s goals during the 2-2 draw at St James’ Park.
The former central defender has called upon Mourinho to try and nullify the defensive weaknesses which are occurring and believes that they should not be happening by a side of Tottenham’s calibre.
Spurs have now dropped 11 points because of goals conceded in the final 10 minutes of games this season, the most of any Premier League side.
