There is no doubt that Tottenham Hotspur were second best to Liverpool this afternoon in our 2-1 defeat, but should we have been awarded a late penalty which could have made it a 2-2 draw?
After going 2-0 behind, Tottenham pulled one back in injury time through substitute Erik Lamela. However, many fans feel that referee Michael Oliver should have awarded Spurs a penalty after another replacement Heung-min Son was clearly fouled by Liverpool’s Sadio Mane in the dying embers of the match.
Instead, the referee absolutely bottled the decision and instead pointed to a goal kick to Liverpool.
What do you think? Should this have been a penalty for Spurs? Have your say below.
