Video: ‘Show how much we care’ – Hojbjerg reacts to home win and his goal

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg claimed that today’s win against Aston Villa was an ‘acceptable’ performance from the Spurs players, adding that the players wanted to show the home crowd how much they cared.

The Dane lined up in a midfield two with Oliver Skipp this week, with Nuno moving to a 4-2-3-1 formation and Hojbjerg certainly rose to the occasion, opening the scoring with a neat finish in the first half.

Hojbjerg claimed he was pleased to score in front of the fans but certainly didn’t concentrate too much on his goal in the post-match interview.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Hojbjerg looked far more comfortable in a two with Skipp than he has in a three so far this season. Having a number 10 in the change of formation just suited everyone. Spurs always had a creative out-ball and that led to more chances being made.
