It was reported a few days ago by Record that Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes is very close to signing for Tottenham, presumably as an Eriksen replacement.
Record stated that Fernandes was set to snub both Man United and Liverpool in favour of joining Pochettino at Spurs.
Spurs and United are said to be the only two clubs who have bid so far, but Tottenham was a more tempting offer due to the promise of Champions League football.
Fernandes scored a whopping 28 goals in all competitions for Sporting last season, and while any deal is said to cost around £60m, it isn’t hard to see why thanks to this video compilation:
