Heung-min Son scored one of the goals of the season on Saturday afternoon for Tottenham Hotspur against Burnley.
The South Korean received the ball from Jan Vertonghen on the edge of the Tottenham penalty area and drove forward with the ball 70 yards beating a number of Clarets players on his way before drilling the ball beyond goalkeeper Nick Pope into the back of the net in front of the 17,500 capacity single tier south stand.
During Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show on 9/12/19, Son’s goal was recreated in virtual reality to give viewers exactly the view which the Spurs player would have had on the North London pitch.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher wore a VR headset to give his analysis of the goal and claimed that it could be the best effort which football fans are likely to see all season.
Spurs ran out comfortable winners against Sean Dyche’s side with an impressive 5-0 scoreline, with Son rightly taking the plaudits for his remarkable effort.
