Video: Sky reporter clarifies Tottenham’s stance on Harry Kane amid Man City interest

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur’s stance over the future of Harry Kane remains the same.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola spoke to the press ahead of Sunday’s Community Shield clash against Leicester City and was quizzed about his interest in Harry Kane.

The former Barcelona midfielder admitted that the Premier League champions are interested in the England captain this summer, but only if Tottenham are prepared to negotiate.

Solhekol insisted that nothing has changed from Tottenham’s perspective and the figures he understands which have City have been talking about consist of around £75million plus some players in exchange, which is something the North Londoners are not interested in.

Tottenham believe they are in a very strong position with the 28-year-old having three years left to run on his contract and have no desire to sell him, especially to one of their Premier League rivals.
