Video: Sky reporter explains why Spurs are better for Eriksen than Inter Milan

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that a move to Inter Milan for Christian Eriksen would not necessarily be a step up for the player.

The 27-year-old is out of contract at Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season and is currently able to hold discussions with clubs on the continent over a pre-contract agreement.

Eriksen has been heavily linked with a move to Inter and is already said to have agreed personal terms worth around £100,000-a-week after tax and has been offered a four year contract (The Times).

Eriksen was the subject of discussion on Sky Sports’ Transfer Show with Solhekol stating that Spurs possess a better stadium, are richer, progressed further in last season’s Champions League and also have Jose Mourinho in charge.

This month represents the last opportunity for Spurs to try and cash in on the former Ajax playmaker before he walks away for free in the summer.
