With Tottenham suffering defeat for the first time at their new stadium against West Ham on Saturday, Spurs fans wouldn’t have been too enthusiastic about watching their rivals take to the field on Sunday.
However, Spurs’ competition have once again faltered as Manchester United and Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw while Tottenham’s North London rivals Arsenal went down 3-0 against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Predictably a lot of Arsenal fans had a meltdown on AFTV after the game and as usual, there were comparisons being made with Tottenham.
While the host Robbie stated that the Gunners don’t deserve to finish in the top 4, a fan who goes by the name Ty, insisted that they deserved to be in the Champions League if the Lilywhites do, only for another fan to remind him that Spurs are in the Champions League semi-final.

Spurs Web’s Opinion
Tottenham have been extremely lucky that despite faltering repeatedly recently, their rivals haven’t been able to capitalise on their results.
Pochettino’s men have to consider themselves fortunate that they still find themselves in third place. They will be hoping to seal Champions League qualification next weekend with a win over Bournemouth.
Have something to tell us about this article?
Cannot make comparisons between arsenal and the spuds. Arsenal have won 13 league titles. spuds have won TWO ONLY the last being sixty years ago. In addition the Arse have wony many more trophies in total . 20 years continuous years in the Champions league, season unbeaten. the spuds are having their 5 minutes of fame.
