England enjoyed a fantastic World Cup campaign last summer, fighting their way to the semi-finals before falling to Croatia.
Although Harry Kane picked up the Golden Boot and scored six goals for England, some blamed him for not passing the ball to Sterling for a tap in when the Three Lions were 1-0 up against Croatia.
However, after Kane did exactly that today against Switzerland, many were keen to point it out and stick up for the Spurs striker.
Back in the summer of 2018:
Harry Kane should have passed to Raheem Sterling

Will never forget that chance where Harry Kane should have passed it to Sterling! If that was Sterling he would get so much stick for it! Ffs Kane was just absolutely shite tonight, Southgate should have took him off

Why should Harry Kane get one? If he passed to sterling we might have got to the final ? what about the rest of the squad?? https://t.co/SUoPahKxvY

Now:
A great chance for Raheem Sterling to score, but he's unable to convert from close range!
