Pochettino would have been hoping for a relaxing and simple game of football this afternoon, but the reality was crazy, heated, and heart-breaking.
After dominating the early chances, Spurs were reduced to 10 men after Son lost his head and lashed out at Bournemouth’s Lerma.
Juan Foyth entered the match to sure things up in the second half only to be shown his own straight red just two minutes later.
Tottenham then faced a monumental battle to earn even a point from the disaster of a match, something that was snatched away by a Nathan Ake header just minutes from time.
However, Spurs had the chance to equalise from one final corner in the 94th minute, and some fans believe Dele Alli should have been awarded a clear penalty as he appeared to be dragged to the ground in the box.

How on earth isn’t that a penalty on Dele at the end? Pawson really is a disgrace.

That’s the most stonewall penalty you’ll see all season. Wilson on Dele. Pawson looking right at it. Nothing.

Lerma goes down like he’s been shot & gets Son sent off. Dele clearly wrestled to floor at the end & yet no penalty. Absolutely appalling. 2/2

#BOUTOT Dele should have had a penalty at the end there I’m sure everybody agrees. We only have 1 more week left and then VAR will be introduced for the next Premier League fixtures and we will see no more of this nonsense and fairer results, Warnock was right with his comments

Callum Wilson pulls down @dele_official and no penalty… Biased refereeing at its best..
