Video: Some Spurs fans will love what Harry Winks has said about his celebrations

Of all the players in the current Tottenham squad, Harry Winks certainly ranks up there amongst the most passionate and emotional while on the pitch.

The midfielder wears his heart on his sleeve and his celebration after every goal is an indication of how much playing for Spurs means to him.

Being in lockdown, the 24-year-old was interviewed from home for BT Sport’s UCL throwback and one of the questions that he was asked by the fans was why he is always the first person jumping into the crowd when Tottenham score.

The Spurs academy graduate admitted that being a Spurs fan himself, the emotions come naturally to him and his first instinct is to always celebrate with the crowd.

I have never understood why some Spurs fans dislike Harry Winks so much. Whatever you think of his ability as a footballer, Spurs fans should be rooting for him to succeed given that it is apparent how much playing for Spurs means for Winks. I see him as future captain material.
