Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have gathered outside the stadium this afternoon to protest about the club’s owners over their failed plan to join the European Super League.
For some supporters, the reason to protest goes beyond the ESL breakaway, including the cost of tickets and the lack of consistent adequate investment into the first team compared to other clubs.
It is the second protest within the space of a month after a section of supporters voiced their discontent ahead of the Premier League match against Southampton.
Yesterday, interim head coach Ryan Mason claimed that the North London faithful are entitled to their opinion when asked about the protests while also praising Daniel Levy and the club’s board, having claimed they have ‘done incredibly’ for over a decade.
