Video: Son admits he’s still tired

Son Heung-Min’s late strike proved the match winner for Spurs against Newcastle today at Wembley. For most of the game, Spurs struggled to create clear cut chances as the Magpies defended resolutely.

However, with the clock ticking down, Son got on the end of Llorente’s knockdown and produces a stinging right foot shot that bounced just in front of Martin Dubravka in the Newcastle goal, and found its way into the back of the net.

Son was also instrumental in Tottenham’s midweek victory over Watford as he scored the equaliser before Llorente’s header secured all three points. After the game, the South Korean international along with Harry Winks, spoke to Sky Sports, and the pair seemed delighted with the result.

Son also admitted to being tired after returning from the Asia Cup but insisted that the games against Watford and Newcastle were too important for him to miss.
