Heung-min Son has insisted that he has no desire to take up cricket after facing the wrath of Joe Hart’s bowling.
The Tottenham players have been enjoying a stint of indoor cricket at the club’s Hotspur Way training facility over recent weeks, with footage of Dele Alli’s impressive catch having gone viral on social media.
Such was the popularity of the catch England cricketer Jason Roy, who is also a fan of the North Londoners admitted he was left in awe by the footage (iNews).
Son met the question of whether he plays cricket with laughter and revealed that Ben Davies is always inviting him to take part in the team game but joked that he tried to play once but failed to hit the ball due to Hart’s ferocious delivery.
Many Spurs fans will be happy to see Son keep his focus on football and will be looking to get back on the goal trail, starting with tomorrow’s trip to Wolves.
"I have no idea how to play. Joe Hart throws it so hard at me" 🏏
Fair to say Son Heung-min will not be taking up cricket any time soon…👀
