Video: Son’s belief of a Spurs title challenge was plain to see

Heung-min Son once again proved to be the hero for Tottenham Hotspur as he continues to help fill the goal scoring void left by the injured Harry Kane.

The 26-year-old returned to North London last weekend following his spell away with South Korea at the Asian Cup.

He was thrown back into the starting eleven against Watford and scored as Spurs came from behind to win 2-1.

Against Newcastle, Tottenham’s continuous pressure paid dividends when Son’s shot crept under the Magpies keeper to give the home side a vital win to tighten their grip on a top four place.

Son recently warned Liverpool and Manchester City that Tottenham are coming for them, having declared it a three-horse race for the Premier League title.

His delight after the match just showed his much the win meant to him and his belief that Spurs can still compete for the top flight crown was plain to see.
