Former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker-Peters feels it is too soon to draw comparisons between Harry Kane and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.

The City striker has enjoyed a remarkable start to life with the Premier League champions following his summer switch from Borussia Dortmund having scored an astonishing 19 goals in 12 appearances across all competitions already (transfermarkt).

The Southampton player, who also came through the academy ranks in north London acknowledged how Kane has proven himself in the English top flight over a number of years and will be keen to keep pace with the Norwegian in the race for the Premier League golden boot.

Take a look below at what the England international told talkSPORT.

City have an abundance of creative players to feed Haaland, with De Bruyne alone capable of delivering double-figure assists alone.

Kane is a much more rounded player than Haaland, with the Spurs man also a creator of opportunities for those around him.  Unfortunately with no playmaker in the Spurs ranks, he faces an uphill challenge to secure another golden boot.
