Video: Spurs academy graduate pulls off impressive double save

Hugo Lloris has continued his hold over the Tottenham Hotspur number one jersey this season, while there has been competition for the understudy job.

Paulo Gazzaniga found himself thrown into the starting eleven last season after the Frenchman dislocated his elbow and sustained ligament damage in the 3-0 defeat at Brighton in November (Spurs official).

This season, however, Gazzaniga has found himself relegated to third choice following the arrival of Joe Hart on a free transfer after his contract at Burnley expired.

Another highly-rated goalkeeper who is on the books of Tottenham is Brandon Austin.

The 21-year-old showed during a training session with the England Under-21 set up that he is certainly one for the future after pulling off a stunning double save.

Austin first dived to his right to stop the ball from going into the back of the net and swiftly picked himself off the floor to react to a second point-blank attempt on goal and clawed the ball away from the goal.
