Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate, Jamie O’Hara, has urged Harry Kane to leave his boyhood club next season if the club fail to win a trophy.
Spurs have not lifted a piece of competitive silverware since the 2008 Carling Cup Final, repeatedly falling short of the finish line across all competitions.
O’Hara, who graduated from the academy in 2005 and went on to feature 56 times for Spurs (Wikipedia), told talkSPORT that top four is not good enough for the Lilywhites next season.
He added that a top-four finish and an FA Cup would be enough to keep the striker, but a League Cup win would fall short of the requirements.
“He is 27, if Spurs don’t win a trophy next season, Kane should move on.”
“If you just get in the top four and don’t win a trophy, it’s time he moves on.” ?@MrJamieOHara1 says Spurs must win a trophy next season to keep Harry Kane. pic.twitter.com/nyAz9RmQRP
