Tottenham Hotspur are expected to complete a deal for Southampton’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg today.
Sky Sports claim that the former Bayern Munich midfielder completed his medical at Hotspur Way yesterday ahead of the switch from the Saints.
Spurs are said to have agreed a £15million plus bonuses deal with Southampton for the Danish international who was due to be out of contract on the south coast next summer.
Everton were also keen on the 25-year-old, only for the player to make it clear of his desire to join Tottenham instead (Liverpool Echo).
Hojbjerg was stripped of his role as Southampton club captain by manager Ralph Hasenhuttl after expressing his desire to play at a higher level (BBC).
