Video: Spurs fan in south stand captures Bergwijn’s debut goal on camera

A Tottenham Hotspur fan has captured the moment on camera of Steven Bergwijn scoring his first goal for the club in the 2-0 victory against Manchester City.

The supporter was seated in the first row of the south stand and had the perfect view of the Dutchman finding the back of the net on his debut.

It was a brilliant introduction from the former PSV Eindhoven winger who has already found his way into the hearts of the North London faithful.

The 22-year-old’s goal sparked scenes of jubilation on the 17,500 capacity single tier stand and helped the club climb up to fifth place on the table and close the gap on Chelsea to just four points.

Bergwijn was brought off after 70 minutes of the encounter after suffering from cramp.
