Tottenham’s Under-18’s ended up running out 3-1 winners over Southampton in the first ever match at the new stadium.
The game was the first of two planned test events before Spurs start hosting Premier League and Champions League games at the venue starting next month.
Based on what we’ve heard from the lucky fans in attendance, it is apparent that the stadium is one of the best in world football.
The 30,000 odd fans in attendance generated a fantastic atmosphere, which left the Spurs faithful wondering what it would sound like when the stadium is full.
The fans tried to get back the feeling of White Hart Lane by reviving several iconic chants, including the infamous “We’re Park Lane we’re Park Lane..” chant which was led by the new single tier South Stand.
