Tottenham fans will be hanging up their Brighton flags and scarves this evening after the underdogs went to the Emirates and earned a point today.
This came after Brighton secured Premier League survival yesterday when Cardiff lost, but that didn’t distract from the task at hand.
Although they went 1-0 down early through an Aubameyang penalty, Brighton defender to the death and clawed their way back into the match with a Glen Murray penalty of their own.
A win would have taken the Gunners within touching distance of Tottenham, putting the pressure on the Lilywhites to beat Everton on the last day.
However, a draw means Arsenal are three behind with one game to play, and with their goal difference being eight less than Spurs’, the top four race is all but over.
This seemed to amuse Brighton’s Bissouma to no end!
