Video: Spurs fans will love this classy gesture from Heung-min Son at Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-min Son took time out of his day today to greet a huge crowd of supporters at the training ground, with fans lining up to meet the Spurs skipper.

As far as footballers go, there can be very few in the world who are quite as popular as Heung-min Son, be it South Korean fans following their national hero, or Spurs fans who have adored the attacker since he joined the club in 2015.

With 159 goals and 88 assists across 398 appearances for the Lilywhites (Transfermarkt), there is no denying Son is now a Tottenham legend.

The 31-year-old was selected as the new club captain last summer, and has led the line admirably for Ange Postecoglou‘s new-look Tottenham side.

Week in, week out, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is filled with a huge number of South Korean supporters who flock to see Son in action for Spurs.

Hundreds of Spurs fans meet Sonny at the training ground

Son was greeted by a wave of fans outside the Hotspur Way training ground before the Luton Town match, with a queue of supporters lining up around the block in their hundreds to get a glimpse of their hero.

Michael Bridge shared a video of the scene in a tweet, as Son heads out of the training ground and catches up with all the fans who have been waiting to see him.

Bridge suggests Son will have taken the time to sign autographs and take pictures with all of the “hundreds” of supporters who were waiting to meet him.
