Video – Spurs lads score free-kick screamers in training – unlikely player leads the way

It’s the 90th minute in Madrid and a cagey Champions League final still sits at Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool.

With just one minute added on, Tottenham get a free-kick 30 yards out after Heung Min Son is tripped by Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane, and Kieran Trippier all crowd around the football, discussing who should be the one to have a pop at goal.

Out of nowhere, Eric Dier storms onto the scene, places the ball down, and rips it top corner past Allison to win the Champions League for Spurs.

Alright, this seems unlikely, but going by one of Tottenham’s latest videos on their Twitter account, Eric Dier is putting himself at the front of the queue to take set pieces.

The central midfielder whipped two into the top corner, while Eriksen and Kane both struggled. Dier has done it for England before, should he step up for Spurs?
