Video: Spurs midfielder expresses frustration after Leicester defeat

Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium has seen some fans on social media ask some serious questions of Pochettino and the side.

Midfielder Moussa Sissoko has admitted in an interview with the club that the result was hard to take. The midfielder, who looked noticeably crestfallen in the interview, revealed the team’s frustration in failing to capitalise on taking the lead once again.

The Frenchman also discussed VAR’s decision to disallow Serge Aurier’s second-half strike, which proved to be the turning point in the game as the hosts struck soon after to equalise.

As it happened, Pochettino’s decision to take Sissoko off seemed to hamper the side but it is unfair to blame the manager for the decision given the fact that the Frenchman was on a yellow card. Thankfully, the players don’t have to dwell on this defeat for too long as we have a League Cup game against Colchester coming up on Wednesday.
