Moussa Sissoko was named in Didier Deschamps’ starting eleven for France’s friendly against Finland last night.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder had an evening to forget when he was at fault for the opening goal in the surprise 2-0 defeat at the Stade de France.
Sissoko was in possession in the middle of the pitch when he lost the ball which allowed Rasmus Karjalainen to prod the ball into the path of Brentford striker Marcus Forss to race through and finish well past the advancing Steve Mandanda who was deputising in the absence of Hugo Lloris.
Sissoko has been a regular in Jose Mourinho’s side in recent weeks having started each of the club’s last five Premier League matches (transfermarkt).
Could there be an upset in Paris? ?
