Tottenham Hotspur are said to be on the verge of parting company with Kieran Trippier.
Sky Sports News report that the full-back said goodbye to his team mates yesterday at Hotspur Way ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad jetting off to Singapore today to start their pre-season tour of the Far East.
Trippier is expected to complete his move to La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid today in a deal worth £20million (BBC) and is expected to undergo a medical in the Spanish capital (ITV).

While Trippier may not have enjoyed the best of seasons, £20million for an England international seems to be a surprisingly low fee considering how inflated other transfer fees have been during the current transfer window.
