The Tottenham Hotspur players and backroom staff were treated to a special welcome ahead of their first training session in Perth earlier today.
The Spurs squad was greeted by a Welcome to Country ceremony ahead of being put through the paces by Ange Postecoglou’s coaching staff for the first time on Australian soil as they begin their preparations for Tuesday’s pre-season friendly against West Ham United.

The ceremony is a custom performed to offer safe passage and protection to visitors who are granted permission to journey through the country.
The Tottenham players stood in a circle and applauded while the indigenous welcome was performed at the iconic WACA Stadium, which is predominantly used for cricket and Australia Rules football.
