The Tottenham Hotspur players paid tribute to their man of the moment, Lucas Moura with a perfectly adapted song for the Brazilian.
The squad changed the words to Gala’s ‘Freed from Desire’ in honour of Moura who scored a hat-trick to fire Spurs to the Champions League final.
Erik Lamela used his Instagram account and used the live video function to record within the Spurs dressing room which saw the players change the lyrics to ‘Lucas On Fire, Your Defence Is Terrified’.
It is just another fantastic touch of class from the Spurs players who ooze unity among themselves and is a credit to Mauricio Pochettino who has instilled this culture within the squad. He may not have signed a player in two transfer windows, but with this unity you can see why he doesn’t want to upset the balance with the wrong types of personalities.
Spurs are off to Madrid to face Liverpool in an all-English final on June 1st in what could be a historic first European Cup win for the North London side.
