Video: Spurs star admits he is ‘not happy’ with his own performances

Dele Alli has admitted he has not been happy with his own performances this season after Tottenham fell to a second-consecutive 3-0 loss on Sunday.

Tottenham’s first-half performance in the London derby was arguably the most encouraging one that Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have put in so far this campaign.

However, the home side were not able to make their superiority count as Chelsea took control of proceedings after the interval and ran out comfortable winners.

Alli admitted that Tottenham need to create more chances and that he needs to be delivering more in the final third.

The Tottenham midfielder also stressed the importance of bouncing back in the North London derby next weekend.

I got the feeling that the players simply ran out of legs in the second half. We looked completely toothless once Kante came on and our numerical advantage in midfield was nullified. Hopefully, we get better as the squad gets fitter with more game time under their belt.
