Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Joe Hart has taken to Instagram to apologise to the club’s supporters over a mistake which was made on his social media account last night.
Hart was on the bench for Tottenham’s Europa League round of 16 second leg against Dinamo Zagreb and had to watch on as his team-mates threw away a two-goal advantage to crash out of the competition 3-2 on aggregate after Mislav Orcic scored a hat-trick to book his side’s place in the last eight.
A ‘story’ appeared on the former England international’s Instagram account of a graphic of the 3-0 scoreline along with the caption ‘job done’ which was later deleted.

Hart has this morning recorded a video apology to supporters claiming that it was a member of his social media team who had made the post, assuming that Tottenham had won the game 3-0 and put it down to it being a ‘typo’.
