Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was reduced to tears following Denmark’s 2-1 win against the Czech Republic yesterday evening.
Hojbjerg has been instrumental in helping Denmark to secure a place in the last four of Euro 2020 having provided three assists in five matches during the tournament (Uefa).
Denmark’s reward is now a mouth-watering clash against England at Wembley which will see Hojbjerg come up against his Spurs team-mate Harry Kane who was in dazzling form to help the Three Lions comfortably beat Ukraine 4-0.
Hojbjerg was one of Tottenham‘s most impressive performers last season in what was his maiden campaign for the club in which he played every single minute of Premier League action.
