It has been a real squad performance from Tottenham this season, and no player encapsulates that more than Fernando Llorente.
Barely used before Kane’s injury in January, Llorente came into the side and has taken the Champions League by storm.
Not only did Fernando Llorente provide a crucial assist to Harry Kane in the group stages, and score the third against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley, but he also played a huge role in the club’s two most recent wins.
Llorente famously scored with his hip late on to beat Man City on aggregate in the quarter-finals, before setting up the move that led to Lucas Moura’s 96th-minute winner in Amsterdam.
With his contract expiring this summer (Sky Sports), I think Tottenham should be desperately trying to extend it.
