Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Steven Bergwijn found himself on the scoresheet for Holland earlier this evening.
The 22-year-old was named in Dwight Lodeweges’ starting eleven for the UEFA Nations League clash against Poland.
The former PSV player broke the deadlock at the Amsterdam ArenA on 61 minutes when he found himself in the right position to tap home from four yards out following Hans Hateboer’s ball back across the goal.
Thirteen minutes after scoring he was brought off and replaced by Manchester United new boy Donny van de Beek.
